Jaw pain & tooth grinding

Do you suffer from jaw pain and tension headaches, neck/shoulder pain, and clicking jaw? These are just some of the symptoms of TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders) which affect the Temporomandibular joint connecting the lower jaw to the skull.  TMD will occur as a result of clenching and grinding the teeth, and the biggest cause of teeth grinding is stress. Its not easy to stop living stressful lives, but at Cathedral Dental we are happy to offer Cerezen™ to help our patients who are suffering with Temporomandibular Disorders.

Cerezen is a pioneering medical solution that effectively treats TMD and associated symptoms such as Jaw Pain, Jaw Clenching and Tension Headaches, which can be worn day and night. Cerezen is a clinically effective, safe to use treatment, using custom made discreet hollow inserts that fit your ears

How does it work?

Your ear canals are located close to the Temporomandibular Joint. Jaw movement affects ear canal volume. Whilst wearing your Cerezen devices, every time your jaw moves, a subtle pressure is applied by the wearing of the devices against the walls of your ear canals, creating an awareness of jaw actions which contribute to TMD. The Cerezen devices effectively encourage the jaw to return to a relaxed position and provides TMD symptom relief.

If you want to know more about Cerezen, or feel you are suffering from TMD then please contact Cathedral Dental.
